Certified Fair Trade Ingredients
Whenever possible, we encourage fair trade with local small producers from all over the world.
The fair trade helps to improve communities with projects such as child care, health care,
education and pension fund.
Made with organic materials
Organic farming uses natural methods free from harsh fertilizers or herbicides which can damage
the delicate biodiversity of the Earth.
Concern for the environment
Our commitment to minimize our footprint in the environment encourages us to choose
biodegradable materials. So, the box, the string, the envelopes, the tags and the bags
can returned to the earth and will degrade naturally into the ground without adding
any toxic matter.
Everything comes to those who wait: organic and fair trade loose green tea!
Our new organic and fair trade Asian tea blend combines the spring steamed green tea leaves of Assam and those from Wuyuan, China to form a perfect medley. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Assam has been considered as an ideal meeting ground, sheltering streams of distinct cultures. Where time stands still, Wuyuan offers astonishing scenic backgrounds reflecting great symbiosis of man and nature. The fresh green tea leaves of Assam provide a bright fruity cup that is delicate yet balanced while the legendary Lunch Ching offers a refreshingly smooth lingering taste appreciated by tea connoisseurs around the world.
A Sustainable Community in the Egyptian Desert!
We are proud to announce that our family of fair trade herbal teas has just become bigger!
Four O'Clock has purchased fair trade certified chamomile flowers, hibiscus flowers and peppermint leaves from a small cooperative in Egypt, located about 60 km North of Cairo.
Therefore, on your next purchase of our Pomegranate Echinacea, Peaceful Dreams or Lemon Ginger herbal teas, you will also be contributing to improve the quality of life of this Egyptian community.
In many parts of Egypt, people do not have access to basic amenities such as fresh water, medical centres, schools, proper housing, transportation and communication facilities.
The farmers recognized the idea of Fair Trade as a wonderful initiative to solve the existing social and cultural problems in Egypt by assisting the people to support themselves financially through increased economic activity.
